Through data-driven analysis, we map the regions, sectors and populations of 14 most vulnerable districts of Jharkhand to climate change.
It is focused on conducting block level climate vulnerability assessment and preparing a Composite Vulnerability Index (CVI) for the most vulnerable districts of Jharkhand.
Vulnerability indices have been derived using twelve indicator categories.
Blocks are ranked based on the composite vulnerability indices and grouped into (1) Low (2) Moderate (3) High categories of vulnerability.
This ensures focused planning where it matters most.
How it helps:
• Communities benefit from targeted interventions based on their specific risks.
• Policymakers and officials are able to prioritize investments and resources in high-risk areas.
• Researchers apply the analysis to design localized adaptation solutions.
