Government of Jharkhand
Building long-term climate resilience begins with building people. The Climate Change Centre of Jharkhand is leading a comprehensive, five-year capacity-building program under National Mission on Strategic Knowledge for Climate Change designed to empower institutions, communities and individuals with the knowledge and tools to respond to climate change now and beyond the life of the project.
Over 500 training programs will be conducted, including 10 specialized sessions for Master Trainers who will continue to lead climate learning within their sectors. These master trainers will help ensure the continuity and self-sustenance of climate education efforts at the institutional level.
Senior, nodal, and field-level officials
Urban and rural local bodies
JFMCs, SHGs, and farmers
School, college, and university levels
Academic institutions and civil society
Custom training modules will be developed to meet the needs of each group. Programs will be delivered through interactive workshops, hands-on sessions and policy-focused discussions.
Designed for scale and sustainability, the program fosters a culture of continuous learning. The goal is to create an ecosystem where climate-informed decisions become standard practice, even after the project concludes.
